The Role 

  As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the day-to-day maintenance function on site, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across a fast-paced production environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll balance team supervision with technical involvement across electrical and automated systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities across production lines
  • Supervise and support a team of electricians and fitters
  • Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability
  • Troubleshoot and support complex faults across PLC-controlled equipment, conveyors, motors, and automated systems
  • Plan and schedule maintenance work in line with production requirements
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrade of new equipment
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on uptime, waste reduction, and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and food manufacturing requirements
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting
About You
  • Trade qualified Electrician (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing / FMCG environment
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience within maintenance
  • Strong fault-finding capability across electrical and control systems
  • Experience working with automated / PLC-driven equipment
  • Ability to lead from the front and engage effectively with production teams
  • Strong focus on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
