The Role
- Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and competitive tender submissions.
- Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Source, negotiate and analyse subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to maximise project outcomes.
- Manage multiple tenders while meeting strict deadlines.
- Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure a seamless handover of successful tenders.
- 3-5+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction or commercial fit-outs.
- Ability to build up your own rates based on a pricing indices/past data/rate libraries
- Proven experience pricing fit out and new build projects
- Strong knowledge of subcontractor markets and trade pricing.
- Ability to compare the Subcontractors pricing against your own estimates.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- A collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
