This role is ideal for someone who can work autonomously, confidently lead meetings with clients and consultants, and bring a strong understanding of current residential design trends, materials and finishes.
The Role
You’ll work across bespoke residential projects, managing the interiors process from early concept through documentation and delivery. The studio is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, contribute creatively, and elevate the overall design offering with new ideas and varied project experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage residential interior projects from concept to completion
- Run client meetings and present design concepts confidently
- Develop mood boards, material palettes, FF&E selections and detailed documentation
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, suppliers and contractors
- Produce high-quality drawing packages and interior detailing
- Contribute innovative ideas and stay across current residential design trends
- Manage timelines, priorities and project deliverables independently
- Approximately 5+ years’ experience in high-end residential interiors
- Strong design eye with a refined understanding of contemporary residential design
- Confident communicator with experience leading client interactions
- Ability to manage projects autonomously and work proactively
- Strong documentation and detailing skills
- Experience across all project phases from concept to delivery
- Vectorworks experience is beneficial, however training can be provided
- Salary circa $100K + Super, depending on experience
- Strong pipeline of residential work
