My client, a dynamic and design-forward interior architecture studio, is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join their growing team in Melbourne. With a strong pipeline of work across workplace, commercial, and mixed-use interiors, this is a great opportunity for a talented designer looking to take the next step in their career with a mid-sized, fast-paced firm that values creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of the design team, you’ll be responsible for leading projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, design-led solutions. Your role will span across all project stages with a focus on:

  • Leading the design process across multiple projects
  • Developing and presenting concepts, mood boards, and space planning
  • Producing detailed documentation, FF&E schedules, and specifications
  • Coordinating with consultants, suppliers, and contractors
  • Mentoring and guiding junior designers
  • Supporting project delivery through to site completion
What You Bring
  • 7–8 years’ experience in interior design, ideally with a focus on workplace or commercial interiors
  • A strong design portfolio showcasing concept development through to documentation
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
  • Solid understanding of BCA and Australian standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project coordination and client liaison capabilities
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a keen eye for detail
Why Join?
  • Hybrid working arrangement offering flexibility and work-life balance
  • A young, vibrant, and social team culture
  • Modern CBD studio in a collaborative and creative environment
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact projects with a respected design-led practice
  • Offices in both Melbourne and Sydney with national project reach
If you’re looking to grow your career within a supportive and energetic team that champions design excellence, this is the perfect opportunity.
