Design & Build are partnered with a highly respected mechanical services contractor that delivers end-to-end HVAC and building services solutions across commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare projects. Known for their design & construct capability and collaborative approach, they are continuing to secure a strong pipeline of work and are now looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team.
The role is working within their minor works team tendering on projects valued between $500k - $5 mill.

What your day looks like:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical services projects up to $5m.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to scope project requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with the design and project delivery teams on D&C projects.
- Contribute to bid submissions, proposals, and handovers to project teams.
- Around 5 years’ estimating experience within the Australian HVAC/mechanical industry.
- Proven background working on minor works projects projects.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
- Remuneration up to $140k + super based on experience.
- Work on minor works projects up to $5m across commercial, industrial, healthcare, fit out, central plant and education sectors.
