We are seeking an experienced Nightshift Supervisor
to oversee night operations on a specialist lift installation contract
for a high-profile commercial project in Brunswick, VIC.
This role is a contract position for approximately 8–10 weeks, managing a dedicated lift contractor and associated site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all nightshift activities related to the lift installation package
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure strict adherence to OH&S regulations, site safety, and company standards
- Monitor progress against program, ensuring targets and deadlines are met within the 8–10 week timeframe
- Conduct toolbox talks, site inductions, and risk assessments
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and day team to ensure seamless handovers
About You
- Proven experience as a Nightshift Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or Foreman on commercial or large-scale construction projects
- Previous experience managing lift installation or specialist trade packages highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and trade sequencing
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage contractors and maintain team morale during night operations
- Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions under pressure
