As the business continues to grow, the Sales & Operations Manager is on the lookout for a proactive Operations Executive to take ownership of the entire product sales process from initial quote to successful handover.

Key Responsibilities for the Operations Executive: 
  • Manage the full sales cycle from quote to handover, ensuring a smooth transition to project delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients including Powerlink, TransGrid, Essential Energy, ElectraNet, Western Power, Horizon Power, and Transpower NZ. 
  • Prepare accurate quotes and tenders, ensuring alignment with technical requirements, pricing, and timelines. 
  • Liaise with suppliers for pricing and collaborate with technical and commercial teams
  • Ensure all offers comply with company policies and receive appropriate internal approvals before submission. 
  • Oversee document versioning, distribution, and compliance, ensuring quality and consistency across all project documentation. 
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers to confirm details, follow up on quotes, and provide ongoing support. 
  • Keep the CRM system updated with real-time information and generate regular internal sales reports. 
Skills and experience
  • Strong administrative skills and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail, particularly in technical and commercial reviews.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage compliance systems.
  • Great customer service skills with the ability to prioritise work and service requests.
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to ‘think outside the box’ and to apply innovation and technology to solutions.
  • Self-motivated, have a positive can-do attitude required in small enterprise and prepared to work autonomously
