We’re partnering with a well-established, fast-growing organisation in the facilities services sector to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead a high-performing service delivery function across New South Wales.
This is a senior leadership role overseeing a large, fast-paced operations centre responsible for coordinating high-volume work orders, field teams, and service partners across multiple key accounts.
About the role:
You’ll take full ownership of end-to-end operations delivery, ensuring jobs are planned, scheduled, and completed efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships and meeting contractual KPIs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a multi-layered team (Team Leaders + large indirect workforce)
- Managing high-volume work order workflows, scheduling, and escalations
- Driving operational performance, service delivery, and profitability
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards
- Overseeing workforce planning, forecasting, and real-time operations
- Partnering with senior stakeholders and clients
- Leading continuous improvement and transformation initiatives
- Building a strong customer-centric, high-performance culture
About you:
We’re looking for a commercially minded operations leader who thrives in complex, high-volume environments.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience leading operations or contact/service centres at scale
- Strong leadership experience managing leaders and large indirect teams
- Proven ability to drive KPIs, performance, and customer experience outcomes
- Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, and operational analytics
- Confidence managing escalations and making sound business decisions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience delivering change
