Design & Build have an exciting opportunity with leading remedial and refurbishment contractor, renowned for their commitment to quality and excellence. In response to growing demand, they have recently launched a dedicated fire upgrade division and have already successfully delivered multiple projects. The plan now is to seek a specialist to lead and drive the growth of this division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage fire upgrade projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Estimate project costs and prepare comprehensive bids.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to drive the growth of the fire upgrade division.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure all documentation and reporting are completed accurately and timely
- 5+ years management experience in fire upgrades, passive fire protection, or safety compliance.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards related to fire upgrades.
- Any FPAS accreditation is highly favourable.
- Strong network in the NSW construction and fire compliance space.
- Demonstrated ability to estimate project costs and prepare bids.
- Experience working with remedial builders, certifiers, and strata managers
