Operations Manager required for a well-established contractor based on the NSW Central Coast region, specialising in remediation and residential projects across a diverse portfolio. The business has experienced steady growth over recent years and operates with a strong reputation for quality delivery, long-term client relationships, and a genuine focus on work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the remedial and residential business units across multiple concurrent projects
  • Directly manage and mentor Project Managers, Estimators, and Contract Administrators
  • Oversee project performance, including programme, cost control, risk, and quality outcomes
  • Provide operational input into resourcing, forecasting, and business planning
  • Support pre-construction and tender processes alongside the estimating team
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, quality systems, and contractual obligations
  • Act as a key link between site teams and senior leadership
Requirements
  • Proven experience in an Operations Manager role within remedial construction or a Senior Project Manager with remedial experience ready to step into an operational leadership position
  • Strong background in remedial construction is essential
  • Experience managing multiple teams and projects concurrently
  • Trade background highly regarded but not essential
  • Solid commercial acumen and understanding of project financials
  • Confident communicator with the ability to lead, influence, and build trust across teams
