An established, design-led professional services studio is seeking an experienced Operations & Office Manager to play a pivotal role in the smooth running of the business.

This is a senior support and operations role suited to someone who thrives on structure, discretion, and ownership, and enjoys working closely with Directors in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across administration, finance support, HR coordination, and studio management. You will act as a trusted right hand, ensuring systems, people, and processes operate efficiently so leadership can focus on strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
  • High-level executive and administrative support to Directors
  • Diary management, meeting coordination, documentation and correspondence
  • Office and studio operations, facilities, suppliers, and IT liaison
  • HR coordination including recruitment support, onboarding, leave and timesheet management
  • Financial administration including invoicing, forecasts, expenses, and aged receivables
  • Reporting, CRM/WFM maintenance, and process improvement
  • Supporting company culture initiatives and internal events

About You
You are highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure. You bring sound judgement, discretion, and a strong sense of accountability to everything you do.
You will ideally have:
  • Experience in an Operations Manager, Office Manager, Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and prioritisation abilities
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and external partners
  • A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to juggle competing demands
  • Solid capability with Microsoft Office and general business systems
Experience in a professional services, architecture, design, or creative environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Remuneration & Benefits
The successful candidate will receive a salary of circa $95-110k+super.
  • A trusted, influential role working closely with leadership
  • A collaborative and professional workplace culture
  • Variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to improve systems and processes
  • Long-term career stability within a respected studio
