This role is well suited to a detail-oriented professional who is confident managing weekly payroll in a fast-paced environment. There will also be elements of Accounts Payable duties required in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve timesheets.
- Process payroll on a weekly basis for all employees across various companies
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime and deductions
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and confidentially
- Always maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information
- Proven experience processing payroll and Accounts payable is a must.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Construction industry experience though preferred is not required
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll compliance
- Experience using Xero and or any accounting software
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment cycles
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
