Location: NSW (regional, can relocate or DIDO/FIFO Monday-Friday - home every weekend)
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Controls professional to play a key role in the integration of cost, schedule, risk, change control, and reporting on a large-scale infrastructure program
This position sits at the center of the project’s performance environment, coordinating inputs across Planning, Cost Control, Construction, Commercial, and Risk to deliver accurate forecasting, strong governance, and clear executive-level insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of cost, schedule, risk, and change control into unified project controls outputs
- Coordinate budget development, rolling forecasts, and earned value management (EVM)
- Deliver accurate, timely project controls and performance reporting to senior leadership
- Provide detailed variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting insights
- Support recovery planning, scenario analysis, and schedule risk analysis
- Manage change control processes and ensure approved changes are reflected in baselines
- Implement and maintain project controls frameworks, standards, and governance processes
- Drive continuous improvement and digital enablement across reporting and analytics
- Proven experience in Project Controls, Planning, or Cost Control on major infrastructure, energy, or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of EVM, cost forecasting, and schedule management
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and complex data inputs
- Exposure to recovery strategies, scenario planning, and risk integration
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity
