About the Role
As our Pre‑Start Consultant, you’ll be the superstar guiding clients through one of the most exciting parts of their building journey — design selections. You’ll help them choose everything from bricks to benchtops, ensuring their home feels uniquely “them”.
You’ll be:
- The client’s go to guru for all things selections
- The creative problem solver who can turn indecision into confidence
- The organisation wizard keeping documentation, variations, and approvals on track
- The friendly face clients remember long after handover
- Running fun, engaging pre‑start appointments
- Guiding clients through colours, finishes, fixtures, and upgrades
- Preparing accurate documentation and variations
- Liaising with drafting, estimating, and construction teams
- Keeping clients informed, supported, and excited
- Making the process feel smooth, calm, and even enjoyable
- Experience in pre‑start, interior design, client liaison, or residential building
- A flair for design and an eye for detail
- Confidence, warmth, and the ability to build instant rapport
- Strong admin and documentation skills
- A calm, solutions‑focused approach (even when clients bring 47 Pinterest screenshots
- Up to $100k + super
