They are looking for a Production Draftsperson to join their team. This is a hands on, technical drafting role focused on producing accurate construction documentation for custom homes. You'll manage your own workload, work closely with the internal team and coordinate with overseas drafters to ensure drawings are completed to the required standard.
About the role
- Produce residential construction documentation using Revit
- Work across custom home projects from documentation through to construction
- Review drawings for accuracy, detail and compliance with project requirements
- Coordinate with overseas drafters and review their work
- Manage drafting workloads and documentation deadlines
- Work closely with the construction and project teams
- Maintain consistent drawing standards and documentation quality
- Strong Revit skills are essential
- Experience in production drafting for a residential builder in Australia
- Experience with high end custom homes is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of residential construction and working drawings
- High attention to detail and a practical, technical approach
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with overseas drafting teams
