Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join the Operations Team and play a key role in coordinating production activities and meeting customer delivery commitments.
About the Role
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the factory production schedule to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full. You will work closely with multiple internal departments including Sales, Engineering, Warehousing, and Production to ensure efficient planning, clear communication, and smooth operational execution.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- As Production Planner you will plan, manage, and maintain the factory production schedule
- The Production Planner you'll coordinate customer orders from receipt through to production and delivery
- The Production Planner will liaise with Sales, Engineering, Warehousing, and Production teams to align priorities
- This Production Planner will ensure delivery dates are met and proactively manage any potential delays
- As a Production Planner you will monitor production capacity and adjust schedules as required
- The Production Planner will maintain accurate production and order records
- Identify and support continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes
- Previous experience in a Production Planner, Manufacturing Planner, or similar role
- Strong ability to coordinate across multiple departments
- Experience managing production schedules and customer orders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential
