A successful and highly regarded construction contractor, have partnered with Design & Build to source an experienced Project Coordinator/ Project Engineer, to join the team to deliver a portfolio of landmark $100m+ projects across Perth, working alongside an experienced project team.
In the role of Project Coordinator /Assistant PE, your first project will be a large new build hotel in Perth CBD. Helping coordinate the facades, finishings, landscaping. Hands on site exposure on a landmark project.
They're renown for their integrity in all areas of operation and excellence in workmanship. Over the last couple of year's they have experienced steady growth and have a young, dynamic and high performing team. You'll be receiving hands on training and learning from the best.
This company will consider applications from candidates based in other Australian states who would like to relocate to Perth.
To be considered for the position of Project Coordinator you will require:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Coordinator coming from a Tier 1 or 2 Contractor OR 2+ years experience as a Project Engineer
- High-rise or mixed-use experience preferable
- Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Managing the design and engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Supervising the construction team and subcontractors to ensure they meet project goals and objectives
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
- Ensuring that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date
