The Project:
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of major, utility-scale renewable energy projects that are critical to Australia’s energy transition.
These projects sit firmly in the 100MW+ category, often incorporating complex hybrid generation, large BESS installations, grid connection interfaces, and challenging construction environments.
They are not simple builds - but they are well-resourced, well-funded, and backed by an experienced delivery team.
The Project Director plays a central role in driving outcomes across safety, programme, commercial performance, and stakeholder management.
The Role:
As Project Director, you will hold full accountability for the safe and successful delivery of large-scale renewable power generation projects.
You will lead multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, construction, commissioning, transport, logistics, plant & equipment, and grid connection interfaces.
This role suits an experienced Project Director or Senior Project Manager who has delivered major renewable, transmission, EHV Substations or energy infrastructure projects and is comfortable operating at scale.
The Requirements:
- Proven experience as Project Director / Senior Project Manager in large-scale renewable or energy projects in Australia
- Demonstrated delivery of utility-scale power generation projects (100MW+)
- Experience across solar, wind, BESS or hybrid projects is essential
- Strong leadership capability across large, multi-disciplinary teams
- Confident in managing complex risk, programme, and stakeholder environments
