You'll work closely with design, construction, procurement, and commercial teams across a fast-paced and complex project environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Project Engineer

- Interpret electrical engineering drawings, schematics, and erection documentation to guide on-site execution.
- Plan and coordinate labour, tools, services, and materials required for electrical installation activities.
- Work alongside warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of electrical materials and equipment to site.
- Track electrical scope expenditures, review invoices, manage procurement activities, and identify cost efficiencies.
- Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant standards, specifications, and safety and environmental regulations.
- Identify and troubleshoot design discrepancies, leading technical resolution sessions as required.
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client to resolve electrical and technical challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of on-site or project engineering experience on large-scale infrastructure, energy, or construction projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Experience with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Solid understanding of electrical installation scope and how it interfaces with civil and structural works.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to commit to a Monday to Friday roster based in rural NSW for approximately two years.
