We’re seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join a well-established Tier 2 construction company, delivering high-quality Education new build projects across the Newcastle region.
As a Site Engineer / Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting in the delivery of education new build projects valued up to $5 million
- Coordinating site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Managing QA, ITPs, and project documentation
- Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager to keep things on track
- Dealing with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
- Keeping a close eye on safety, quality, and program delivery
- Proven experience in construction of Commercial or Education new builds, ideally within the $5-10M range
- A strong understanding of construction processes, site coordination, and safety requirements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a commitment to quality out
