We are seeking a driven Project Engineer to join a well-established national construction business delivering high-quality projects across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors. Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams, you will play a key role in planning, coordination and delivery of projects from early works through to handover.
This role offers exposure to complex builds, genuine career development and the opportunity to work with an experienced, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, programming and delivery of construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
- Manage RFIs, variations, shop drawings and documentation
- Monitor project cost, quality, safety and schedule performance
- Support procurement and contract administration activities
- Conduct site inspections and ensure works meet design and compliance requirements
- Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement on site
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- 2–5+ years’ experience in a Project Engineer role within construction
- Strong understanding of construction methodology and site processes
- Experience working with subcontractors and consultants
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
- Australian working rights (essential)
