Our client, a leading civil and infrastructure contractor with a strong portfolio of water and wastewater treatment, pipeline, and pumping station projects, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their Brisbane team. The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of complex water infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing daily engineering and site activities to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
- Coordinating with design, construction, and subcontractor teams to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Preparing ITPs, quality documentation, and progress reports.
- Managing procurement, scheduling, and cost tracking to align with project budgets and timelines.
- Identifying and resolving technical or design issues in collaboration with the project team.
- Contributing to risk management, change control, and stakeholder communication processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering(or equivalent).
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience engineering experience on water or wastewater infrastructure projects(essential).
- Proven experience with treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, and related civil works.
- Strong understanding of project management processes, site coordination, and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Work with a leading contractor delivering key water and wastewater infrastructure projects across Queensland.
