The Opportunity As a Project Engineer, you’ll support the successful delivery of major civil works by coordinating onsite engineering functions, managing subcontractors, monitoring program performance, and driving safety and quality standards. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team operating within a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer onsite construction engineering activities
- Track costs, revenue and productivity across allocated works
- Assist with forecasting, reporting and programming
- Manage subcontractors, trades, technicians and internal site crews
- Monitor construction progress, identify risks and maintain compliance
- Produce SWMS, ITPs and interpret design documentation
- Contribute to toolbox talks, pre-starts and safety initiatives
- Support and develop junior engineers
- Assist with head contract administration, variations and claims
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of WHS, Quality and Environmental standards
- Competency in procurement, subcontractor management and commercial controls
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and construction programs
- Ability to interpret designs and drive constructability improvements
- Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
