We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver commercial fitout and refurbishment projects across Canberra.
This role will see you taking full ownership of projects from early delivery through to completion, working across office fitouts, government tenancies, and live-environment refurbishments.
You’ll be joining a strong delivery team with a solid pipeline of secured work and the support needed to focus on what matters — delivering quality projects on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end delivery of commercial fitout and refurbishment projects
- Manage programming, budgeting, procurement, and cost control
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and internal delivery teams
- Drive site delivery and ensure works are completed safely and to program
- Manage client relationships and act as the key project contact
- Oversee contract administration, variations, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and contractual obligations
- Identify and manage risks across all stages of delivery
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction (fitout/refurb experience essential)
- Strong track record delivering projects in live or operational environments
- Solid commercial acumen with exposure to cost reporting and project financials
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing capability
- Ability to lead subcontractors and drive site performance
- Strong understanding of WHS and construction delivery standards
- Relevant construction or engineering qualification preferred
