About the Role
We’re seeking a proven Project Manager
with extensive experience delivering complex civil works within the Defence sector. You will lead the delivery of major infrastructure packages ranging from $50M to over $200M in value. This role reports directly into the Project Director – Defence, a highly respected leader in the sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and own key stakeholder relationships in the Defence Sector - Brining you entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to be continuously shaking hands
- End-to-end management of major Defence infrastructure projects in line with client and government expectations
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams and site operations
- Ensure all project milestones, safety, quality, and environmental standards are met
- Manage project financials including forecasting, budgeting, and contract administration
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Defence stakeholders, consultants, and subcontractors
- Drive a high-performance culture with a focus on delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Build your Team from the ground up
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing infrastructure projects in the Defence sector
- Track record delivering projects valued from $50M to $200M+
- A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to problem solving
- Full Australian citizenship – required due to project security requirements
