Project Manager
A highly regarded national contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing Queensland team, delivering a strong pipeline of education projects across South East Queensland. This is an exciting opportunity with a business known for its collaborative culture, repeat client base, and consistent project delivery.
Our client is a well-established Tier 2 builder with a strong presence across the commercial and institutional sectors. With over two decades of success in the Australian market, they have built a reputation for delivering complex projects across education, health, and mixed-use developments.
As the Project Manager, you will take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring programme, budget, and quality outcomes are achieved. You will lead site teams, manage key stakeholders, and drive project performance in line with company expectations.
Main Responsibilities
- End-to-end management of education sector projects ($20M–$100M range)
- Programme planning, cost control, and risk management
- Leading and mentoring site and project teams
- Managing subcontractor procurement and performance
- Maintaining strong client and consultant relationships
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 builder
- Strong background delivering education projects (schools, universities, institutional builds)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive programme outcomes
- Excellent commercial acumen and contract management skills
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities
