Project Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a leading tier 3 D&C commercial construction company as a project manager. With a number of recently awarded projects, our client is looking to expand their team of project managers across North and South Brisbane.
The projects include new build multi storey social housing and industrial new build ranging from $10M - $30M. You will need previous commercial construction experience working on new build and fit out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects valued between $10M and $30M.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout project lifecycles.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to maintain project integrity.
- Drive effective communication between all project participants.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, including both new build and fitout scopes.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects in the $10M - $30M range.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and cost reporting.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field.
