Project Manager

The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on the delivery of structure and fitout components for a major $400 million industrial development located in Melbourne. This is a pivotal role within the broader delivery team, overseeing critical construction stages for a large-scale distribution centre.
You’ll be joining a highly respected commercial and industrial builder with a strong reputation for self-performing large projects across Australia. This is a chance to work on one of the largest private industrial developments in the country with long-term scope and high visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the structural and fitout delivery through to handover
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client-side stakeholders
• Ensure program milestones are met across concrete, steel, façade, services, and fitout packages
• Monitor budgets, subcontractor performance, safety, and quality
• Work closely with the broader delivery and site teams to ensure seamless integration of trades
• Resolve technical issues and drive solutions with a proactive and commercial mindset

• Proven experience delivering the structure and/or fitout phases of complex commercial or industrial projects $100M+
• Deep understanding of industrial construction methodologies including large-format warehousing, D&C, or manufacturing environments
• Confident managing large consultant and subcontractor teams under pressure
• Ability to forecast and manage program, procurement, and logistics in live construction environments
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or related
• Clear and concise communication style and a collaborative team approach
