The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Project Manager
to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, including a program of works for a major Sydney university. You’ll manage all aspects of project delivery from procurement and financial control through to site performance and client handover.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- End-to-end delivery of fit-out, refurbishment, and new-build projects valued up to c. $15M.
- Overseeing procurement, subcontractor agreements, and contract administration
- Managing project budgets, cost reports, and financial forecasting
- Leading programming, scheduling, and resourcing across site and consultant teams
- Driving compliance, HSEQ systems, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
- Degree qualified in Construction Management or related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience within the commercial, education, or government sectors
- Track record of delivering complex refurbishment or institutional projects in live environments
- Strong financial and contractual acumen with proficiency in project management systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail
- Salary package up to $150,000 + Super depending on experience
