A progressive construction business, part of a larger diversified group, is seeking an experienced Project Manager
to lead the delivery of commercial, community, and government projects. These will include capital works, upgrades, refurbishments, and facility/aftercare projects, often in live or occupied environments such as schools.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from tender / pre-construction through to handover and close-out
- Establish and manage project plans, schedules, cost forecasts, and budgets
- Manage risk, compliance, safety, quality assurance, and contract obligations throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain client and stakeholder relationships: clear communication, regular reporting, managing expectations
- Oversee procurement, subcontract management, variation control, and contractual or program changes
- Supervise onsite delivery (if required) and ensure handover is completed with all required documentation, permits, warranties, and maintenance / aftercare plans
- Resolve issues / escalations proactively to minimise delays or cost impacts
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing commercial or government construction projects.
- Strong financial acumen: experience with cost-planning, forecasting, budget control, and managing variations / claims
- Solid knowledge of construction contracts, buildability issues, safety / OH&S legislation, relevant building codes and compliance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar discipline preferred
