We’re working with a well-established commercial builder with a strong presence in Victoria to find an experienced and versatile Project Manager / Estimator / Supervisor for their growing Small Projects Division.
This is a unique hybrid role offering genuine variety, ideal for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of project delivery from tender through to handover.
About the Role You’ll be responsible for running multiple small-scale commercial projects (typically up to $150K), managing everything from pricing and client liaison to on-site supervision and project delivery.
You’ll be supported by a Contracts Administrator based in the office, who’ll assist with procurement and documentation, and whom you’ll oversee day to day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of multiple small projects across Melbourne
- Pricing works, preparing tenders, and managing cost control
- Coordinating subcontractors and supervising works on-site
- Managing project timelines, site safety, and quality assurance
- Providing value management advice and resolving site issues
- Leading and mentoring a CA, managing documentation and financials
- Solid experience in commercial project delivery and estimating
- The ability to juggle multiple jobs and problem-solve on the go
- A strong understanding of Australian Building Codes and WHS
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing confidence
- The ability to lead and delegate across both office and site settings
- Hands-on site supervision experience (highly regarded)
