Project Manager - Tier 2 Builder
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a leading Tier 2 construction contractor specialising in complex refurbishment, education, healthcare, laboratory and technically challenging projects across Sydney.
This role will see you delivering projects valued between $5M and $20M, working within a highly regarded business that has an immediate and growing pipeline of work. Based out of the inner west Sydney head office and working closely with project teams on site, you will be supported by established systems, strong leadership and a company renowned for developing long-term careers.
Key responsibilities include:
• End-to-end management of complex refurbishment and construction projects valued between $5M and $20M.
• Managing and mentoring Project Engineers, Contracts Administrators and Site Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Leading projects through both design and delivery phases, including Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) where applicable.
• Overseeing programming, procurement, cost control and project delivery to ensure time, cost and quality objectives are achieved.
• Working closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors to successfully deliver technically complex projects.
• Managing contractual obligations, variations, progress claims and reporting in line with company systems and procedures.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in compliance with WHS, quality and company standards.
• Supporting business growth through leadership, collaboration and contribution to upcoming pipeline projects.
About You:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering complex refurbishment, Fitout or construction projects valued between $5M and $20M.
• Previous experience across education, tertiary, laboratory, healthcare, hospital or medical projects is highly regarded.
• Design management and/or Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) experience is highly desirable.
• Exposure to technically challenging services coordination and remediation projects will be advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants and subcontractors.
