D&B Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly expanding civil contractor that has quickly established a strong presence in the Perth market. Backed by experienced and well-connected directors, the business has built its success on delivering quality projects while maintaining a people-first and family-oriented culture.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with landscaping project experience to join the team and play a key role in delivering a variety of metro-based civil and landscaping projects.
The Role This opportunity is suited to either an experienced Project Engineer ready to step into a more senior position, or an established Senior Project Engineer looking for a supportive and collaborative environment where their contribution is genuinely valued.
You will be involved in the delivery of small to medium-sized civil and landscaping projects across the Perth metro area, supporting projects from procurement through to completion. Working closely with Project Managers and site teams, you will play an integral role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Demonstrated experience delivering landscaping projects within the civil construction sector.
- Experience managing projects from procurement through to delivery and completion.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Solid administrative and commercial skills including cost coding, invoicing, forecasting, and reporting.
- Experience within Urban Development, Streetscaping, and Hard/Soft Landscaping projects.
- A proactive attitude with the willingness to mentor and support junior team members.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple project priorities.
- Previous experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer within civil construction and landscaping projects.
- Local WA project delivery experience highly regarded.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Jobpac (highly advantageous).
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the Perth metro area.
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Salary package between $120,000 – $160,000 + Superannuation (dependent on experience).
