This is a technically focused bid leadership role, sitting at the intersection of project controls, commercial strategy and delivery planning. You'll be working on some of the more significant water infrastructure pursuits in the market right now.
The Role
Working closely with Business Development and senior leadership, you'll lead the end to end bid process for major water infrastructure opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of tender submissions across water infrastructure and treatment projects
- Developing and owning bid programs, ensuring milestones are met across multidisciplinary teams
- Translating technical and commercial inputs into cohesive, compliant submission documents
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders including engineering, commercial, legal and subcontractor teams
- Supporting the development of delivery methodologies, project programs and resource plans for inclusion in submissions
- Managing risk registers, assumption logs and commercial reviews through the bid lifecycle
- Maintaining bid governance and quality standards across all submission activity
- Contributing to pipeline planning and pursuit prioritisation with the BD team
You'll be coming from a Tier 1 contractor, engineering consultancy or specialist water business, with a solid track record running complex bids in the infrastructure or water sector. You'll bring:
- Experience leading bids on major water infrastructure or treatment projects
- A strong technical foundation, whether through engineering, project controls or construction planning
- The ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple simultaneous pursuits
- Confidence coordinating large, cross functional teams under pressure
- Familiarity with Australian water sector clients, procurement frameworks and delivery models
- Proficiency with scheduling tools and bid management platforms is an advantage
- Work on high value water infrastructure pursuits with a genuine pipeline behind them

- Base salary $150,000 to $200,000 plus STI plus super, commensurate with experience
