PV + Battery Equipment (Wholesale/Distribution Focus)
Overview
The Sales Director will lead national channel sales for solar and battery equipment, driving growth through wholesalers, distributors, and strategic partners. This role is critical to expanding market presence and carries high visibility with senior leadership.
Salary Range
- $180k – $260k base + commissions + superannuation
(Dependent on experience, product expertise, and channel relationships)
- Own and execute national channel sales strategy for PV and battery equipment; manage commercial negotiations and key accounts.
- Build and grow relationships with wholesalers, distributors and partners; deliver targeted sales outcomes.
- Coordinate with delivery, product and legal teams on technical requirements and contract execution.
- Drive brand positioning, market development activity, and regional expansion plans.
- Analyse market trends, competitor movements and customer feedback to optimise channel performance.
- Senior sales leadership experience in PV and/or battery equipment, with strong wholesale/distribution expertise.
- Strong understanding of PV/battery product propositions and customer business cases.
- Experience setting and achieving national sales targets and executing regional go-to-market strategies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience within Renewable OEMs is highly sought after
