This position involves carrying out pre-handover inspections, identifying quality issues, and coordinating rectification works across a range of residential projects. You will also manage warranty and maintenance requests from homeowners, ensuring all items are assessed, prioritised, and resolved within required timeframes.
This is a field based role with a strong focus on both quality assurance and customer service, representing the business directly with homeowners and trades.
A large portion of work is based in Dubbo, with travel required across surrounding regional areas including Forbes, Parkes, Orange, and Bathurst.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-handover inspections across residential construction projects
- Identify and document defects, variations, and quality issues with clear reporting (photos and notes)
- Coordinate and schedule rectification works with trades and suppliers
- Manage warranty and maintenance requests from homeowners
- Liaise with clients to provide updates and ensure a positive customer experience
- Ensure all works are completed in line with company quality standards and construction requirements
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, service requests, and completed works
- Undertake minor on-site touch-ups or adjustments where required
- Ensure all activities are completed safely and within agreed timeframes
About You
- Experience in residential construction, maintenance, site supervision, or building services (ideal but not essential)
- Strong understanding of residential building methods, finishes, and standards
- Ability to identify building defects and quality issues confidently
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Trade background or exposure to residential construction highly regarded (not essential)
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in warranty, maintenance, or post-construction service roles
- Exposure to residential home building environments
- Basic hands-on repair capability (patching, minor fixes, adjustments)
