Senior Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure

I'm working with one of Australia’s leading privately owned Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancies, known for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the country. With over 160 staff nationwide, they offer a professional, collaborative culture and a strong reputation for quality.

Their South Australian infrastructure team is growing, and they’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the business. They’re also open to builder-side estimators who are keen to step into a client-side consultancy role.

About the Role
You’ll be involved in cost planning and pre/post-contract work across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. It’s a role with a lot of variety — you’ll work independently while also being part of a supportive national team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-contract: quantity measurement, cost plans/estimates, value management, cashflow forecasts, bills of quantities.
  • Post-contract: variations, progress claims, post-contract certificates, cashflow management, bank reports, tax depreciation schedules, and project cost analysis.
  • Maintain quality assurance and contribute to cost databases.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
What They’re Looking For
  • 7-10+ years’ post-qualification experience in infrastructure or civil engineering.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, and/or Construction Management.
  • CostX and CRM experience (preferred).
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Builder-side estimators with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
What’s on Offer
  • Work on major, career-defining infrastructure projects.
  • Flexible work arrangements.
  • Strong, inclusive team culture.
  • Tailored training, mentoring, and career progression opportunities.
If this sounds like the step you’re ready to take, get in touch and I’ll walk you through the details.
