Senior Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure
I'm working with one of Australia’s leading privately owned Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancies, known for delivering complex, high-profile projects across the country. With over 160 staff nationwide, they offer a professional, collaborative culture and a strong reputation for quality.
Their South Australian infrastructure team is growing, and they’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor
to join the business. They’re also open to builder-side estimators
who are keen to step into a client-side consultancy role.
About the Role
You’ll be involved in cost planning and pre/post-contract work across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. It’s a role with a lot of variety — you’ll work independently while also being part of a supportive national team.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-contract: quantity measurement, cost plans/estimates, value management, cashflow forecasts, bills of quantities.
- Post-contract: variations, progress claims, post-contract certificates, cashflow management, bank reports, tax depreciation schedules, and project cost analysis.
- Maintain quality assurance and contribute to cost databases.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
- 7-10+ years’ post-qualification experience in infrastructure or civil engineering.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, and/or Construction Management.
- CostX and CRM experience (preferred).
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Builder-side estimators with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
