The Role As a Desktop Estimator / Repair Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing repair claims from assessment through to completion, ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review repair estimates from reports, photos and scopes of works.
- Coordinate trades, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the repair process.
- Liaise with insurers, assessors, homeowners and contractors.
- Monitor job progress, budgets and timelines.
- Resolve issues quickly to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all repairs comply with relevant building standards and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate job records and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Previous experience in desktop estimating, repair coordination, insurance building or residential construction.
- Ability to interpret building scopes, reports and repair estimates.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
- A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with insurance claims or repair management will be highly regarded.
- Salary of $75,000 - $95,000 + Super(depending on experience).
