The Role You will be based on a luxury 20+ storey residential development on the Gold Coast, with approximately two years remaining and further projects in the pipeline.
You’ll work closely with the project team and subcontractors to support all aspects of WHS and maintain high safety standards across the build.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with project teams, subcontractors and senior management to drive positive safety outcomes.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing safety training.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of WHS systems and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, company standards and project requirements.
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor within the Australian construction industry.
- Previous experience on commercial, residential or high-rise construction projects.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation, risk management and contractor engagement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider project team.
