I am seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Advisor to join the team on a project-based role across either the South Brisbane or Northern Gold Coast regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day safety management on active construction sites.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and pre-start meetings.
- Lead incident investigations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with company and legislative HSE standards.
- Review and monitor SWMS, risk assessments, and permits to work.
- Maintain accurate safety records and reports using systems such as Hammertech or Procore.
- Promote and maintain a strong, proactive safety culture across all site teams.
- Proven experience in a dedicated Health & Safety role within the commercial construction industry.
- Certificate IV in WHS/OHS – essential.
- Strong communicator with the confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in using safety management systems (e.g., Hammertech, Procore, or similar).
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to build rapport across diverse site teams.
