This is a contract opportunity supporting a major civil infrastructure project.
The role is expected to run through approximately October and would suit a hands-on safety professional who enjoys working autonomously while building strong relationships across site teams.
The Role
- FIFO 2:1 roster to the Northern Territory
- Support a major civil infrastructure project
- Conduct site inspections, audits, incident investigations and risk assessments
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety training
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, project requirements and company procedures
- Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and management to drive positive safety outcomes
- Provide practical, proactive safety support across the project
- Proven experience as a Safety Advisor within civil construction or infrastructure projects
- Confident operating as the sole site-based safety representative
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Practical, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the broader project team
