The Opportunity
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Architect who thrives on the technical side of project delivery and is looking for long-term involvement in a landmark industrial build — a fully automated distribution centre for a global retail giant. Construction is underway and will continue into mid to late next year, with another major project scheduled to follow directly after.
The Role You’ll work closely with the Senior Architect leading the project and take ownership of the documentation and construction phases, including:
- Producing and coordinating shop drawings, RFIs, and documentation packages
- Leading day-to-day coordination with the builder and consultants
- Working in Revit across all documentation stages to a high technical standard
- Ensuring delivery runs smoothly through construction, keeping quality and accuracy at the forefront
About You
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in architectural practice, ideally on large, complex projects
- Strong knowledge of construction detailing, site coordination, and project documentation
- High proficiency in Revit
- Comfortable collaborating directly with builders, engineers, and internal teams
- Registered Architect (preferred but not essential)
- Happy to commit to a multi-year project and see it through to completion
- Focus on one high-profile, technically challenging project
- Work within a supportive, design-driven practice with a strong technical backbone
- Stable pipeline of large industrial and commercial builds beyond this project
- $105–125k + Super, with career growth potential
