As the Senior BoP Electrical Design Engineer, you will take technical ownership of Balance of Plant electrical systems and support the project through detailed design, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead detailed design activities for LV/MV/HV electrical systems
- Prepare engineering documentation, including SLDs, cable sizing, technical specifications, and protection settings
- Review and integrate vendor and subcontractor electrical designs
- Provide technical support to procurement, construction, and commissioning teams
- Support site installation activities and conduct technical inspections when required
- Degree qualified in Electrical or Power Engineering
- 10+ years’ experience within power plant construction or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of HV/LV systems and BoP electrical design
- Proficient with AutoCAD and ETAP
- Deep knowledge of Australian Standards
- NER registration through Engineers Australia
- Hydropower experience beneficial but not essential
