Join an exciting Civil Construction Team in a growing Asphalt company.
We are working very closely with an asphalt and civil construction company delivering high-quality infrastructure projects across the region. Due to continued growth and a recent restructure, we are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer with strong detailed earthworks expertise to join the dynamic civil team.
About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in the planning, design, and delivery of earthworks and civil projects, supporting our civil operations. You will work closely with project managers, site engineer, civil team and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage detailed earthworks, including bulk and final trim works
- Prepare and review earthwork volumes, models, and calculations
- Interpret and produce civil drawings and specifications
- Provide technical support to site teams during construction
- Coordinate with surveyors, civil and asphalt team and project stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, costs, and quality outcomes
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 4 years experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in detailed earthworks (essential)
- Experience working in civil construction and/or asphalt projects
- Strong understanding of earthworks modelling and volume calculations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Asphalt experience desired but not essential
