The Opportunity
An opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join the team and take ownership of key trade packages across a major project.
You will play a critical role in managing procurement, financial control and contractual compliance, working closely with the Project Director and senior leadership to ensure strong commercial outcomes from start to finish.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing head contract and subcontract administration across the full project lifecycle
- Leading procurement strategy, tender assessments and subcontract negotiations
- Administering variations, progress claims and payment schedules
- Preparing detailed cost reports, forecasts and cashflow tracking
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
- Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams to resolve contractual matters
- Supporting junior CAs and contributing to structured commercial processes
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- 5–8+ years’ experience in Contract Administration within commercial construction
- Proven experience on projects valued $5M - $30M
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement and cost control
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute, organised and confident operating in a Tier 2 environment
- Salary package up to $180,000 + Super
