Senior Contracts Administrator

I’m working with a highly regarded Brisbane construction company that is looking to bring an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator into their team.

And the work? Plenty of it. An incredibly strong pipeline across commercial, industrial, education and hospitality projects, there is an opportunity to get involved in some seriously impressive builds while working alongside a high-performing project team.
The Role:
- Taking ownership of the commercial and contractual management of projects
- Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
- Negotiating contracts and subcontractor agreements
- Managing variations, progress claims, EOTs and contractual correspondence
- Cost reporting, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Working closely with the Project Manager and site team to drive project outcomes
- Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients
- Identifying commercial risks and finding solutions
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team
- 6+ years' experience within commercial construction
- Strong Contracts Administration experience across the full project lifecycle
- Experience on commercial, industrial, education or hospitality projects
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, variations and cost management
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Someone who takes ownership and enjoys being part of a team
- Ambitious and looking for a business where there is genuine room to grow
