Senior Contracts Administrator
Design & Build Recruitment is searching for an experienced and motivated Senior Contracts Administrator to join our client based on the Sunshine Coast.
The successful candidate will work within an established team on new build multistorey residential projects valued over $50M. If you have a passion and proven ability in Contracts Administration and love the high rise residential construction industry, this role and company is for you.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Contracts Administrator with our client, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of their projects. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts administration, including:
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Monitoring contract performance, variations, and claims to ensure timely resolution and minimize risks.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes and procedures.
- Mentoring and coaching Junior Contracts Administrators
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator in the commercial construction industry.
- Work closely and collaborative with your Project Manager
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Procore, Cheops, Hammertech…)
