Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Salary: 160-180k +

Design & Build have partnered with a established EPC business delivering major projects across power, renewables, and infrastructure.
You’ll be joining a tight-knit engineering team focused on delivering large-scale substations and energy infrastructure.
This role gives you ownership of the control systems scope – from concept through commissioning – on high-voltage transmission projects across the country.

- Developing specifications, schematics, and functional logic diagrams
- Working closely with HV electrical, primary/secondary, and drafting teams
- Supporting commissioning and site integration of systems
- Managing quality, documentation, and compliance with technical standards
- Proven experience working on protection/control systems in transmission networks
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Bachelor of Engineering)
- CPEng or working towards it
- Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering body (e.g. Engineers Australia)
- Solid understanding of substation SCADA, PLC, HMI, and protection relays
- Strong experience with relevant standards (e.g. AS/NZS 61850)
