This is a specialist engineering role in Primary Systems within a leading EPC environment, embedded in a high-performing in-house design team.
The focus here is true technical ownership of primary design shaping layouts, driving design quality, and seeing your engineering directly influence how major transmission infrastructure is built and delivered.

- Lead primary design for HV substations, including layouts, equipment arrangement and electrical clearances
- Develop detailed engineering calculations and high-quality design deliverables
- Produce complete primary design packages (drawings, BOMs, technical specifications)
- Collaborate across secondary, protection, civil and power systems disciplines to deliver fully integrated designs
- Work closely with internal project delivery and construction teams to support execution
- 5+ years of experience in detailed design engineering
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Engineers Australia membership (or eligible)
- Strong technical specialist mindset with a passion for HV design and infrastructure delivery
