As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preparing competitive and accurate tenders for large-scale projects. You’ll be working closely with a highly experienced team, bringing your technical expertise and industry knowledge to help secure landmark projects in Sydney.
What your day looks like:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for large-scale electrical and communications projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and assess technical compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with design and delivery requirements.
- Contribute to tender submissions, value engineering options, and bid presentations.
- Proven experience in electrical estimating within the Australian commercial construction sector.
- Ideally, have an electrical trade background
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, and construction methodologies.
- Software experience: Bluebeam, SIMPRO, Navisworks/ Revizto, Microsoft Project
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
